MSC MUNICH-SPORTSCARS GmbH, based in Munich, organises individual transports for classic cars, sports cars and non-running vehicles. Whether within Germany or across borders, we agree the collection and delivery locations with you individually. You have one fixed contact person throughout the transport. Whether you have just bought a car, are relocating a classic or need transport for a restoration project, we agree the collection, transport type and handover arrangements with you individually.

Open or enclosed – which type of transport is right for your car?

Whether it is a classic car, a modern sports car or a vehicle in the middle of restoration, the right type of transport depends on the car, the distance and the time of year. We are happy to advise you.

Enclosed car transport

In an enclosed trailer, your car is protected from direct exposure to the weather, road dirt and unwanted attention during the journey. This can be particularly beneficial during the colder months, as the enclosed trailer protects the vehicle from direct exposure to rain, road spray and road salt.

Bought a classic car in Germany?

Have you bought a classic or sports car from a seller in Germany? Munich Sportscars can arrange collection from the seller and transport to your chosen destination. On request, a simple visual check with photos can be carried out at collection. For cross-border transports, we can also support you with customs and registration questions.

Still considering a purchase? We can assist with a viewing of the vehicle before you buy. The scope of our assistance is agreed individually.

Your car does not need to be roadworthy

Whether your vehicle has been involved in an accident, has spent years in storage or is undergoing restoration, we can transport it as long as it can be rolled. A winch can be used for loading.

Please briefly describe the vehicle's condition when you enquire. Photos sent via WhatsApp are particularly helpful.

Cross-border transport and customs

Vehicle transports across borders can involve customs formalities in addition to the transport itself. On request, MSC MUNICH-SPORTSCARS supports you with customs clearance and with vehicle registration questions in connection with the transport. When making your enquiry, please tell us the country of collection and the destination. We will clarify which services we can provide for your particular transport.

What affects the cost of a classic car transport?

Every vehicle transport is organised individually, so you receive a quote tailored to your request. The price mainly depends on:

  • Distance: collection and delivery locations
  • Transport type: open or enclosed
  • Vehicle and condition: size and whether the vehicle is running or can only be rolled
  • Timing: preferred dates and any short-notice requirements
  • Border crossing: customs formalities, where applicable

Frequently asked questions

Will my car be transported on its own?

Yes. Munich Sportscars organises dedicated single-vehicle transports. Your car is not transported together with other customers' vehicles as part of a shared load.

Can a non-running car be transported?

Yes, as long as the vehicle can be rolled. A winch can be used for loading. Please also let us know whether it can be steered and braked or whether there are any restrictions – ideally with photos. This helps us assess the loading requirements in advance.

Open or enclosed – what is the difference?

In enclosed transport, the car sits in a closed trailer and is protected from the weather, dirt and unwanted attention. Open transport is also suitable for many vehicles. We will discuss with you which option suits your car.

Is my car insured during transport?

Yes, the vehicle transport is insured. We are happy to explain the details of the insurance cover as part of your enquiry.

How will I be kept informed during transport?

Your contact person stays in touch with the driver and informs you of important developments, such as delays. If you are not on site at handover, we can send you a photo of the unloaded vehicle on request.

Are short-notice or Europe-wide transports possible?

Yes. Short-notice transports are possible by arrangement. In addition to transports within Germany, we also organise transports to other European countries. For cross-border transports, we can also assist with customs clearance where required. The scope of this support is agreed individually.

Can my classic car be transported in winter?

Yes. In an enclosed trailer, the car is protected from direct exposure to rain, road spray and road salt during the journey.

Can you help if I buy a car in Germany from abroad?

Yes. We can arrange collection from the seller and transport to your destination, and support you with customs and registration questions for cross-border transports. Before you buy, we can also assist with a viewing of the vehicle by arrangement.

What information do you need for a quote?

For an initial enquiry we need the vehicle model, the collection and delivery locations (town or postcode is enough) and whether the car can be driven. If you already know them, please also tell us your preferred transport type and dates. Photos are especially helpful for non-running vehicles.
