Restoration, repair or a technical problem: tell us what you need. We take care of the agreed work and keep you informed of significant progress.
Pre-purchase viewing before you buy a classic car
A classic car can make a great first impression, while a closer look may reveal issues that are not immediately apparent. Before you make a decision, we can assist you on request with viewing a classic car and with your questions about the vehicle.
Which points can be checked and what support makes sense is agreed based on the vehicle and your questions. Once you have decided, we can also organise transport of the car you have bought.
Frequently asked questions
How much does a classic car restoration cost?
The cost depends on the car's condition and the scope you want. After an initial discussion and the necessary assessment, we prepare individual cost planning. Any additional work is agreed with you before it is commissioned.
What happens if further damage is found during the work?
If further damage is found during the work, we inform you of the findings and the possible next steps. You receive an assessment of the additional work and costs required, and this work is only commissioned once you have approved it. Wherever possible, we document the findings with photos.
Does my car need to be roadworthy?
No. On request, we can organise open or enclosed transport for non-running vehicles, provided they can still be rolled.
What is the difference between a partial and a full restoration?
A partial restoration concentrates on specific areas or assemblies of the car. A full restoration involves much more extensive work. Which approach makes sense depends on the car's condition and your goals.
Can you get a classic car running again after a long period in storage?
Yes. After an initial assessment, we clarify with you which work is needed – for example on the brakes, tyres, fuel system and engine. You then receive an individual quote.
How will I be kept informed of progress?
Significant progress and any additional work required are discussed with you. Photo documentation during the project can be arranged on request.
How long does a restoration take?
That depends on the car's condition, the agreed scope and the availability of parts. We discuss the expected timeframe as part of project planning.
I live outside Germany – can you still take on my car?
Yes. We can discuss your restoration or repair project in English or German. Collection and return transport can also be arranged on request, including across Europe where feasible. We agree the practical arrangements with you individually.
